On July 12, 2023, The Hollywood Reporter confirmed the casting of Anthony Carrigan as Metamorpho in Superman. Frank Grillo (Rick Flag Sr.)
The latest trailer of Superman also revealed that the movie will feature Frank Grillo as Rick Flag Sr.
In the trailer, we see that Rick Flag Sr., Ultraman, and The Engineer have taken Superman into custody. It has been suspected that Superman could introduce Clark Kent already as a reporter for the Daily Planet, the publication where Lois also works, so it's possible they could already be pursuing a romantic relationship.
This will be paramount to Superman's story in the DCU, as his connection to Lois Lane in DC Comics is at the core of the character.
He is assisted by his exceptional investigative skills, peak physical capabilities, and a black belt in six different disciplines of martial arts, and the gadgets built for him by his company, Terrifictech, to help him as a hero. Even though he consistently pulls pranks on Clark, Steve considers him one of his best friends, but whether Clark shares the same feelings is debatable.

Like most DC characters, Mr. Terrific is also just a human who has peak physical capabilities and is listed as one of the most intelligent men in the world. The network originally kicked off its superhero content by introducing Arrow in 2012. Nicholas Hoult is also no stranger to the superhero genre, having previously been one of the actors who played Beast in Fox's X-Men series.

Sara Sampaio was also confirmed by James Gunn to be officially cast as Eve Teschmacher in the DCU in November 2023.
This is a mantle wielded by two characters, and the second one is Angie Spica, who María Gabriela De Faría will play. Let me know in the comments section.

So, let’s wait and see how DC handles this change in the story. David’s Superman, by far looks to be the most accurate version of Superman and James Gunn deserves appreciation for what he has done.
Now, since the movie is not yet out, it would be too much to say Superman is going to be perfect but by the looks of it, the chances of this happening are very high.
